Other options for downloading FlexSim with poor internet.

My colleague in China said he is trying to download FlexSim but the file is too big for their internet to handle. I just wanted to check if there are any other options to download the software? @Ben Wilson

Hi @Kari Payton,

If you have any means of file sharing within your company, you could download the installer from your location and share it using your internal file-sharing methods.

We do have many clients and a partner in China, but I was not aware of problems in China downloading the software. Occasionally our web server downloads slow when the server is being backed up - this affects downloads from anywhere. It's possible that your colleagues attempted a download during one of these backup cycles, and so the download speed wasn't good and perhaps it timed out. They may just need to try again. I have just tested a download and it was pretty speedy.

If you have trouble downloading the file, please let me know.

Being in a timezone where we usually want to download FlexSim during those backup periods, I have found that using a download manager may be useful. When I download the installer through Google Chrome it will at some point cancel the download and is unable to resume it. With a download manager, you can pick up the download where it left off in case the connection gets dropped.

OK I will share the installer with him. I didn't think of that. Thanks
