AGV vs Conveyor

Hello Everyone,

In the attached simple model i was trying to analyse two scanerio one using conveyor and one using AGV.I tried all ways to control AGV to assign one AGV to One machine to make less difference between outputs of sink1 and sink2.i tried to put buffer before each machine but stil there is huge difference of output between scanerio. any suggestion?

Your question is related to previous question. If you exchange a conveyor by a vehicle, the vehicle should be act similar like the conveyor. The vehicle should be assigned just to one processor and not to a dispatcher to work at different processors. A dispatcher assigns the transport tasks to the next available vehicle. When the vehicle has finished the transport, the vehicle must return to the load station immediately. You can enhance the vehicle speed until the throughput is the same as the conveyor system. Then you can start to adjust the system to your requirements.
