FlexSim and GRASP

Hello, FlexSim community, My name is Dayanna Diaz. I'm starting to use FlexSim and I wonder if anyone has experience incorporating the GRASP metaheuristics on FlexSim for optimization. I'd appreciate any help you may share with me regarding your expertise in the matter. Thanks!

@Dayanna DA, please look at this question "How to recursively call the simulation for optimization" and the answers and comments.

@Michael Machado can you help here?

Hi Mr. Wilson,

the answer isn´t clear, i was wondering if someone has incorporated the GRASP (GREEDY RANDOMIZED ADAPTIVE SEARCH PROCEDURE) metaheuristics on FlexSim for optimization how is the model, and what flexscript tools are necessary.

thank you,

best regards.

Are you familiar with, or have you tried using FlexSim's own optimization tool? OptQuest. It's a separate licensed product that provides optimization. This is what FlexSim uses and encourages for most users.
