Accumulating AGV loop stalling

agv-support.fsmHi,

I have an AGV circuit that is causing the model to get stalled at various routing combinations and I can't figure out the reason. In the PF )testing container) there are different possible destinations for the circuit (placed inside the zone). Every combination of the 5 possible destinations is possible. The current one gets stalled at 39.04 and then it seems that an event keeps repeating indefenitely blocking the model.

This happens with most combinations at different times. My guess is that it has to do with CP allocations (all paths are accumulating) but I have checked every CP and can't seem to find the reason.

Maybe @jordan.johnson or someone can see the reason or suggest a possible solution?

This is a bug with AGV accumulation. If you watch, you may see AGVs slide through eachother.

In your shoes, I would seriously consider using conveyors instead of AGV paths.

That was the original plan (to use conveyors) however, one key performance aspect of this system is acceleration/decceleration of each individual transporter which i don't think I can reproduce with a conveyor.

Do you see any potential issues for modeling this circuit using a CP for every possible location along the paths? Or, do you think the related bug will be fixed in the near future ?

Thanks!

AGV tends to work much better when dealing with many CPs. In the model you shared, many CPs might work.
