How do I open a file from another version of FlexSim?

FlexSim files are backwards compatible. If you save a file in an older version of FlexSim, you can open it in a newer one.

FlexSim files are not forwards compatible. If you save a file in a newer version, you cannot open it in an older version.

whats the thing is animations are not running in the newer version and in the older version animations are no working properly so in the newer version the model is opened but the same is happening ( i.e are not working properly)

in the older version model is created and in that animations are not working properly so that model is opened in the newer version but still animations are not working properly

Could you please start a new question, because either you found a bug or something is wrong with your model but in both cases this has nothing to do with the question about opening you model in a different version. And if you open a new question, please add the model and explain in more detail what is not working.
