How to solve this problem "max wait timer"?

Hi,

In this model, I want to have juste 4 cylinders in Stock Cylinder (42/12=3 and 6 boxes). For the last 6 boxes, I would like to have juste one more Cylinder, to have totaly 4 Cylinders in Stock Cylinder.

But, using Max wait timer is giving me (3 + 6 = 9 ) cylinders. How to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance

In the Batch activity, as part of the Max Wait Timer, the Release Batch picklist option is being used in the OnWaitTimerFired trigger. This picklist option has a checkbox called Failed. When this checkbox is checked, a partial batch is considered failed. The hover text explains what happens to a failed batch:

"This will cause all of the tokens in the batch to be released and will not evaluate the # of tokens to release or perform the mathematical operations on the token labels."

So all 6 of the tokens in the partial batch are released to Create Cylinder activity as if they had not gone through the Batch activity at all.

You want to clear this checkbox, which will cause the partial batch to be evaluated just like all the previous full batches. Only one token will be released to the Create Cylinder activity and you'll end up with 4 Cylinders in the Stock Cylinder Queue.
