FlowSpllitter and FlowBlender not showing up in FloWorks library

@Mischa Spelt

Hi Mischa,

I work for FlexSim in Orem and am trying to build a sample model using FloWorks. In my object library, everything seems to show up except the FlowBlender and FlowSplitter. If i type createinstance(library().find("?FlowSplitter"), model()); in the console, then it will show up.

Do you know what I can do to fix this? I have had this problem with both 18.2 and 19.1. I did make sure that I am using the correct version of FloWorks.

Hi @Benjamin W2,

As of FloWorks 18.1.0 the flow blender and splitter are both shapes of the Flow Processor.

If you click the Flow Processor in the library, you will be able to select which type of processor you want to create:

or if you have already added one into the model you can change its shape in the (Quick) Properties:

The old objects are still in the module for backwards compatibility but it is correct that they are no longer present in the library.

The same goes for some other objects, from the release notes:

FloWorks 18.1.0 (9 April 2018)

For FlexSim version 18.0.x use FloWorks 18.0.2.

  • Pumps, valves, blenders and splitters are now different shapes of the same "Flow Processor".
  • Truck loading points and Berths are now different shapes of the same "Loading Point".
  • Cylindrical tanks, rectangular tanks, tanks with polygon base area and flow piles are now different shapes of the same "Flow Tank".
