Emulation Little Endian/Big Endian

Hello,

As I know that most PLC use big-endian. Why keeps the option in Emulation tool? Is there any PLC use little-endian?

Also I tested big-endian and little endian both but everything is fine without notable difference.

By the way I don't find an explanation about endian in manual.

I think, this a related question for a PLC forum. The way an integer value is coded while it is stored in a telegram, is only necessary to describe or set, when your PLC system demands a special set.

So in the most of cases, I don't need to take care about the option?

@steven.chen, you should be safe to normally use Big Endian. I think you only need to worry about switching it if you are using a PLC that is configured for Little Endian.
