Import 3d model from solidworks

Im not being able to import solid works 3d shapes correctly in flexsim 19.4.2

The model accepts the shape but it is so much smaller than it should be in. I'm importing a .wrl.

Is it possible to import also the textures from solidworks too?

3d shape3d model3d files

Hi @Boris M3,

What version of VRML wrl shapes are you using? FlexSim will only support version 1.0, which may be the cause of this problem.

i'm using the v1.0 and the shape and colors are ok. The problem is that it's not centered in the virtual rectangle that kind of contents the actual shape as shown in the picture i attached in the question. don't know if i'm being clear

@Boris M3

You might try editing the Shape Factors (shown below) to get it to fit within the virtual rectangle. Give it a try and let me know if it works. If not, we can find another solution. Thanks.

Boris,

in cases like this I try to import the shape with AC3D and save it again from that tool in .ac format, which will fit it in the yellow bounding box in FlexSim.
