Evacuation Problem in Flexsim

Hi all, would like to ask is there any evacuation setting for Flexsim? Once the special event was trigged (like fire), then, there is no output from source, and all people will go directly to sink, to calculate the required time for evacuation.

I found that only Flexsim Health care has such function but not Flexsim

Neither FlexSim nor FlexSimHC have an "evacuation" setting. However, you can definitely create an event to send everyone to an exit, it's just not a checkbox.

Here's a demo model of a senior living facility where at certain times of the day all the residents go to the cafeteria or go back to their rooms.

Hi Matthew, thank you for the reply, as I am not quite good at process flow, it is a bit confusing, would like to ask which button trigger those people to have meal at 7 am?

@Zac Lui

There is no button that triggers them to go have a meal, although you could put one in. The event that triggers all of the movements is the scheduled sources at the beginning of each process flow block. if you click on the blocks that say Source, and then click edit arrivals, you can see when tokens are created.
