Agent module questions

Hi,
I tried to use the new agent module on a social distancing problem we have with Covid-19.

A nice feature would be if walls could "break" the proximity. Walls seems to have no effect on proximity and the repulsive force, where for social distancing there is no problem if you're behind a wall.

I've some problems with keeping an agent at it's goal destination. After reaching it's goal, he is pushed away by a repulsive force. I tried to use an active rules "only when traveling" and "neighbors with social force behavior" but when using this feature the repulsive force also worked on walls.

operator 2 reached it's destionation seat

and is pushed away by operator 3 on way to his seat

Dear @ben.wilson, @anthony.johnson,

I'm so sorry, I totally missed the question of Anthony in May.

Hereby I send the model in which I was experimenting. Entering a train question Cor van t Woudt.fsm

We were very impressed by the options to influence the behaviour and to maintain social distance between actors and normal distances to walls etc. I was (at that moment) not experienced enough to work my way along the problems we had, collegues have answered the question with AnyLogic which we had more expecience with but where we missed also a lot of dynamic features. So we're still very interested in an answer and in the next version of the agent module.

Kind regards,

The "neighbors with social force behavior" active rule should filter out walls in an agent's social forces. However, there currently isn't a feature to ignore a neighbor if he is behind a wall. We've added an item to our feature request list that is a "line-of-sight" active rule, which will cause the agent to ignore neighbors who are behind another agent (e.g. a wall).

Thank you for your answer.
Another problem in the same model was that I couldn't keep the first agent that arrived at it's destination on it's place (seat). I would have the (2nd) moving agent passing hum, trying to keep distance (or pass him as wide as possible if the full social distance is not possible) without the first agent moving away. Do you have a hint how I can keep seated persons on their place?
