Prioritizing lanes in merge controller

Using gap-optimizing merge controller, how to prioritize a particular lane when some conditions are met.

Condition could be:

1. Some event in the system outside of the slugs, merge and controller.

2. Conveyor feeding slug building conveyor is greater than X% full.

Hi @Majid A,

I would encourage you to check out the documentation on the Gap-Optimizing merge controller. You can change the query in "Get Best Lane to Release" to whatever will fit your situation. Here is one example from the "Customization Examples" on the process flow:

I'm sure you would be able to add an event that happens outside the controller with some well placed "Event triggered sources" and label assigning. It is hard to say exactly without knowing exactly what even you are referring to.
