Redirecting AGV lets it move of the path

Hi,

Attached is an example model where the AGV moves off the path and continues to travel forever.
At the start of the simulation the AGV gets a task to move to a control point at the downward direction of the main path. After 3.67 seconds the AGV get redirected to a control point somewhere at the top of the model (I copied from that actual model, so everything is quite big):

This redirecting takes place while the AGV is in the curve. When the AGV is redirected it does stop to travel to the original destination, but the next movement is wrong. It starts to move up, but on the downward path, and never stops traveling. It looks like is not really on the path anymore.

In this model there is no accumulation that might cause problems.
Yesterday I posted another problem with redirecting which might be related:

Is there anyway to get this working correctly?
Thank you very much for all your time.

Patrick

This is a bug. We'll try to get it fixed in the next bug fix release.

@Patrick Zweekhorst

I have attached the model with the changes, I have updated the control point deallocation type.

Let us know if this is what you are looking for

Hi @Raja Sekaran,

Thank you for your time. Your answer is actually not answering this question. It uses a example model from a different question I posted:

https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/87493/agv-redirect-does-not-work-on-in-all-cases-on-accu.html

Regarding your answer for that model. You are correct that the AGVs continue to travel. Changing the allocation type of the control point makes sure that happens. However this is only making sure this specific example finishes. You can still see the blue allocation line between the AGVs while it should not be there. The only gain we got by changing the allocation type is that we see less of the problem at the end result.

You can best see that the bug is still there when you change the end destination of TE2:

This blue line should not be there.

@Patrick Zweekhorst I downloaded releasetest-3.fsm, attached to this question, and it is the same model that @Raja Sekaran edited, and is different model than the one that is shown in your question's screenshot. It appears to me that he edited the correct model, but you attached the wrong model.

Hi @anthony.johnson & @Raja Sekaran,

My apologies. It is indeed the wrong attachment. The answer looked to be answering excitedly the other question I posted. Sorry for the inconvenience .

Here is the correct model:

Redirect_3.fsm
