Deleting Dashboard charts after deleting dashboards

Toolbox view.jpg

Tree View.jpg

I deleted all my dashboards as shown in the toolbox view JPEG, thinking that the charts in the dashboards would be deleted also. Imagine my surprise when I ran the Experimenter and found all of the charts still in the model. What is the best way to remove all of these charts?

Thanks,

Tee

The statistics objects can be referenced by various objects. For instance a dashboard, or the experimenter. If you check the box "Save statistics data for each replication", or you use chart data as a Performance Measure, you create a reference to the stat object. This causes the stat object to not be deleted even when you delete it from the dashboard.

If you remove any performance measure data that uses your stat object, you can delete it from the tree under Model:/Tools/Statistics. Be aware that there may be a related StatisticsCollector or other kind of object that is only tied to that stat object. Leaving them in your model won't break anything, but could use up resources.
