Model Stuck in Pull From List

I have a Pull From List block in the Scanning process of my process flow which is pulling extra items due to the looped connector I attached to it. Because there are no items in that list, the operator is stuck. Is there a way to add a decide function to ensure that all totes are pulled, then moved to scanning, then to inspection instead of getting stuck at that stage?

@mia.l,

Attached is your model with the changes that I've made to it. Take a look at the model and see if this is what you are trying to accomplish. If not, please give more details so that we can get it working like you need it to work.

Thanks.

@jeff.nordgren

If I wanted to add more totes and spheres, how can I go about doing this in my process flow so that the operator & processors aren't stuck on the first 6? Should I create another source in the setup process, or add in a wait for event block to stop the operator from overloading the end setup queue?

@mia.l,

You can always add more items by adjusting the arrival times in the Source in the Object Creation block:

Or you can change the number of items/totes created at the Create Object activities...

Does that answer your question?

Thank you for your response! The problem in my process flow is that although I changed the amount of spheres and totes, the operator becomes stuck because the original model only works for the first 6 when moving on to different processes. I explain it a lot better in the new question I posed: https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/89292/multiple-processes-acquiring-operator.html
