How to create bidirectional digital twin in Flexsim

How to create bidirectional digital twin in Flexsim?

In case I don't want to make real-time animation only, but also I want my model to be able to change parameter in real system just by changing parameter in Flexsim. For example i want to change the speed of conveyor in real system just by changing conveyor speed in Flexsim from 6 m/s into 3 m/s.

Can we do that? Please give me step-by-step information about how to realize it descriptively. Thanks!

@Zakka Ugih R

If your real system has many variables to be accessed, the database connection will be more best for your needs. FlexSim also has the database connection module.

Use realtime communications using OPC-UA via the emulation module.

Make sure you're on a supported/current version of FlexSim.

@jason.lightfoot I think version 2020 is needed to communicate using OPC UA. 2019 only supports OPC DA.

Correct - but 19.0 doesn't have bug fixes to OPC-DA either, so the latest long term support version or most recent version is recommended.
