Can textures be resized?

Hi, for a flowitem I am using a single object with texture to avoid burdening the memory.

As seen on the picture below, as bins are used, the product stack grows shorter -but so does the object texture - giving the impression that the bins themselves are shrinking in height.

Is there a fix to this that doesnt involve creating all 22 frames?

FlexSim 21.1.4

Hello Enrique,

I have a few solutions but I have not try any of them.

First, I think you can change the texture having 22 diferent textures. This implies almost as much work as 22 frames but it may be a little more optimize.

Second, I think it would be worth it to try to use the "x Repeat" and "Y repeat" in the plane object to the item, but I am not sure how it works and you may need to modify the item tree to add this feature.

Last, I can think of the least elegant but fastest solution. If the object is always on a surface, you can just set the z position lower by the amount of a single object in the stack so it is hidden under the surface. While it would be as big, only a fraction would be visible.

@Julio R I love the third option jajaja! a shame that the stack is placed on a dolly and the buried part would show...I will try the texture option and let you know, thnx.
