Running the model for 8 hours per day over a week

Hi,

How I can run the model over a 5 days week for just an 8 hours time interval per day, meaning how we can exclude all other 16 hours when there is no operation in place from the dashboards and all the results? For example, the avg state chart average out over all hours, not just the 8 hours target.

Hi @Maryam H2,

To only include 8 hours per day in your dashboard data, you can set up a Time Table to set hours of operation for your model.

In the Time Table window that pops up, you can select objects or groups in your model that you want to stop operation during certain times.

Once you've defined members of the time table, you can go to the Table tab and set down time for certain hours of the day. For my example model I used the Daily Repeat option and blocked out everything but hours 8-15.

This method will not include the hours set as down time in your dashboard data and will stop everything included in the Members tab from running during down time. I am including an example model for how this works, and for more information on Time Tables you can visit https://docs.flexsim.com/en/22.2/Reference/Tools/TimeTables/TimeTables.html
