Modelling Exchange Process Initiated By Any Tool?

Hi Team,

I am modelling a process where process has to to be completed by 2 set of tools. Every time there is a exchange process once item enters which has to be initiated by either Tool1 or Tool2. The other tool has to wait until exchange process is completed.

I am modelling it as below:

I want to make sure, wait for event will work with respect to current processor reference only since process is happening for each processor at the same time.

Can you help me to resolve it?

I will appreciate if there is any other way to model it effectively.

You can write the instance object (current) to a label on the token and match it in the Wait for Event activity so it only releases tokens of the respective instance.

You probably also have to think about how the case where another token arrives while the previous pair is still in the exchange process should be handled.
