Multiple AutoCAD Drawing in one model

Is it possible to have multiple AutoCAD drawings in one simulation model? I am trying to model a three level building with different manufacturing lines on each level, it would be nice to have 3 separate AutoCAD drawings in the model as background.

Thanks,

If I am modeling people move upstairs and downstairs and perform duties at multiple levels, can I do the same thing, or I should add another floor plan? Thanks.

You can use a visual tool and load the DWG as a 3D object.

As Steve suggested Planes are also excellent for holding additional DWGs. If you open the properties window of a visual tool, you will find a small button way at the bottom where you can add drawing to it just like a model background.

Using several planes to hold the drawings you can turn them off and on individually, which is very useful.

Having this feature I don't really see the need to add support for more-multiple backgrounds in the user interface.

You can use planes to model different floors and whether you put a floor plan on it, is optional

Thanks Steven, I am adjusting the Z axis to create 2 levels in the model, do you have any good examples how to model the lift movement between different floor levels? Thanks.
