Animation with surrogate

Hi,

I wanted to put an object (a full pallet) in a queue and then trigger an animation on that flow item. I added an animation on a component in the Queue, made that component a Draw Surrogate, linked it to an animation variable, and set the animation variable to the actual flow item at run time. However, instead of seeing the pallet rotate, the draw surrogate is made visible and is rotated underneath the actual object.

Please see the attached model, animation.fsm

I haven't really used Animations, but the documentation implies to me that what I want is possible and should be done in this way; I am probably misreading something or making a stupid mistake.

@Mischa Spelt, It looks like you're taking the correct steps, but you need to tell the queue to hide its contents. This makes it so the queue doesn't draw the pallet as well as the animation.

See the attached model where I unchecked the box in the Queue's General Properties for "Show Contents"
