I used process flows to move a flowitem from a storage area, to a station, and then to a conveyor instead of center ports. When the flowitem is placed on the conveyor, the flowitem appears like 4-5 feet above the conveyor and the is unable to move the flowitem. Does anyone know what causes this? I've attached my model below.
You shouldn't place items directly into conveyors, they weren't designed to handle this. Place the item into a queue connected to the conveyor or place the item into an Entry Transfer on the conveyor.
You can use process flow to place items directly onto the Entry Transfers like in this example mode here:
You still have to have the queue connected to the conveyor with an a port connection though. You could hide the 3D shape of the queue in it's settings if you really don't want to see it.
@King-Ki F You can also connect an object to the conveyor so that it makes an Entry Transfer, then right click on the transfer and select Remove Connections from the context menu. You can then delete the object you connected and the Entry Transfer will stay there.
