What to put as port value for send to port with empirical distribution?

Hello,

I loaded about 6 months worth of yield values into ExpertFit so it could tell me what distribution to use. The average of these numbers is 95%, so I want to use it to send around 95% to Port 1, and the rest to Port 2.

ExpertFit told me to use an empirical distribution and gave me a table of data with percentages and X values so I loaded it as a global table. Here is a snip of a part of the table:

ExpertFit told me to use sent to port by percentages, but I am unsure of how to enter the values. I have 2 ports and I want most of them to go to Port 1, and the rest to go to Port 2. I tried adding another "percent" & "port" option and copying what I had in the "percent" part and putting 2 in the "port" value but it did not seem to be following the distribution.

How am I supposed to fill this out to get the right amount to go to each port?

Thanks!

Hi @Carolina C8,

If you have the percentages of 95% and 5%, you can just use those numbers, rather than entering "dempirical" for the percent.

Also, pressing the green '+' button adds the 2nd entry to allow you to enter percent:5 and port:2.

If you do want to stick with using dempirical() and your raw data, use "by expression" and enter your equation there:
