Companions Exceeding Elevator Capacity

Hello,

I have built a small model with companions based on a previous support question and added an elevator.

The maximum capacity for the elevator does not seem to take into account these companions for some reason.

I also tried to use token.NumCompanions and patient.NumCompanions and traveler.NumCompanions as a label to increase the capacity of the entering patient, however that didn't work either.

Do I need to split the patients and companions into separate tokens?

Help!

Thanks,

Mark

Hi @Mark S2,

It appears that both the patients and the companions count as "travelers" to the elevator, so if you just set the "Traveler Capacity Usage" to 1, that says that each traveler takes up 1 slot of capacity. So, if it's set to 4, it can hold up to 4 people (including patients and companions).

Does that make sense? I hope this helps! Let us know if you have further questions!

Hi Ryan, thanks! Indeed this works. I thought I tried that already, but I had not!
