Elevator and Flow Items

Simple Example Elevator.fsmReally simple example attached. I can make it work by adding a combiner and seperator, but im curious to know how I would do it in process flow without one. I have a tote, i want to put the boxes inside of and then move the tote up the elevator to the upper queue. As of now it just moves the boxes as would be expected. Any recommendations on how to place the boxes in the tote and then move the tote up to the Queue 2. Then seperate the items and move the boxes to Queue 3 and the tote to Queue 4.

Also - I added a change visualization to one of the boxes to move it up a certain amount by Z. The object never changes visualization when i do it this way but I have no problem changing color. Any recommendations on why this doesn't work?

Hello @Michael D6,

There are several ways to create the process flow you are asking for. I created one such version for you to see.

Also, the box does not move visually becasue it is in the Queue and it location is governed by the rules of the queue.

I created a box in the model and changed its location and this works fine.

Please, look over the attached model for details.

Hi @Jeanette F thank you for the help with this. This is exactly what I needed. Two follow on questions though: 1). it is not clear to me where the "token.NumBoxes" label is created in this model? I went through the process flow but I do not seem to see where that gets created so I have an error when I run that. 2). I understand on the change visuals. So when an item does not visually align correctly with an object is the best way to do that to set a trigger on the queue?
