Import csv file (FlexSim 2016)

importcsv.zip

I am currently using FlexSim2016. I would like to know how to import csv file into globaltable.

For example, in the attached 6*3 csv file and empty flexsim file, there is a blank table named "GlobalTable1". I hope to import the csv file to the above globaltable at the beginning of the simulation. May I ask how to achieve this? Thanks!

FlexSim 16.1.2

Hey @Joe L6, you could use the Excel Interface to import your data.

If you don't have an excel workbook related to your csv, file, then you can use the importtable() command. This will allow you to read in a csv file and put the data into a treenode (i.e., your table).
