GIS - Driving routes - Road

Would like to choose the route based on road clearance like , width of the road, height of the road to get a better clarity for bigger vehicles. Is this feature available already ? If not then how can i integrate this into the existing system

TIA

Raja,

FlexSim´s GIS module does not calculate the route by itself. It sends the request to an external server and gets the finished route in return. So your feature is nothing to be implemented on FlexSim´s side. Commercially available route servers, e.g. for truck routes will have the features you are asking for.

Good luck

Ralf,

Thanks for response but do i need to specify anything as such like truck routes because the general routes might include anything like even car routes .

When configuring your own OSRM routing server, you can use lua profiles to control the rules used to generate routes.

My comment just got killed when you changed your answer to a comment, I guess. I found this post in regards to sea routes:

You will have to find a routing server which satisfies your needs in terms of vehicle specifications and then add it to the GIS Navigator.
