Two-way conveyer with one box each

I have a situation that I don't know how to solve I have two parallel conveyors one is for input and the other is for output, in front of them I have an ASRS and in front of the ASRS another conveyor and I want to take the boxes from the input conveyor with the ASRS and put them on the conveyor in front of it only I want a box to enter on it and that conveyor to stop not to take it further, if I put another box on it to push the other one further in to get the new box in, and in the next step the box that is on the edge to take it with the same ASRS and put it on the output conveyor and then the other box that is left on the conveyor in front of the ASRS to go forward so it can be taken in or go back to make room for another one all random. flexsimmmmmm.pngsdgadgadgbhadbadbhagdadfas111111111111111.png

Would it be an option to model the conveyor with a push back rack?

push-back-example.fsm

Otherwise you would probably need to build a Process Flow that handles the conveyor movement and more importantly the release of items.
