Use elevator in flexsim

Hi guys, I have a combiner on the first floor and I need that an operator takes the items coming from the combiner and bring them to other processors on the ground floor through an elevator. How can I do that? Thank you! Have a good day.

To use the elevator you have to use A* grids that are set to the Z-Height of each floor that the elevator can travel to.

You also need to add the Operator, the Elevator, and any applicable machinery to the A* grid so the operator can calculate their travel.

Hi Emily. I used your same configuration more or less. Unfortunately it does not work. Maybe because my elevator has to start from the first floor but actually it starts from the ground floor and the operator can't use it. How can I fix the start location of the elevator? Thank you so much for the answer.

I switched the model so that the combiner and operator are on the upper floor and the destination queue is below them. It's hard for me to say exactly what's wrong with your model without seeing the model or a picture of the wrong behavior.
