You can just do the same as with the queue. Create a centerport-connection between the exit transfers and the robot (there is currently a bug that makes this only work if you drag from the robot to the transfer, not vice versa) and activate the "Use Transport" option on the Exit Transfers.
The decision where the item is moved is done in the "Send to Port" field of the Exit Transfers. That way you can sort the items by type. Which hopefully answers your other question.
Thank you so much @Felix Möhlmann ... one more question i had can the robot pick up objects on a conveyer while the object is moving ? or does it need to be static for the robot to pick it up ?
An exit transfer at the side of a conveyor can be elongated, so items can be picked while they are in the range of the exit.
