Hi @yoni A2,

I just downloaded and opened your model in FlexSim 18.2.2. It appears that the view is way, way, way zoomed in. A good way to reset the view is to go to FlexSim's main menu, View > Open Default Workspace.

With the default work space open, you will still need to zoom out. After zooming out using my mouse scroll wheel 4-5 times, I see the following:

Then I can zoom in on the CAD drawings and see them up close.

If this is not the case for you, if you can't find the CAD layouts any way you try, you may have a graphics issue preventing FlexSim from properly displaying them. In that case, please try the suggestions listed in our article regarding graphics problems and solutions. You may need to update your graphics driver, or change some other graphics setting. Comment back if you have any trouble with your graphics and we can help troubleshoot.

In particular check that you've not selected "Modern (Core Profile)" under File->Global Preferences->Graphics->OpenGLcontext.

Jason, I get this same problem (CAD not showing) if I choose Modern (Core Profile) instead of Legacy. But I have a GeForce GTX card. Why can't I choose Modern?

Thanks,

"The DWG renderer is a custom third-party renderer that controls its own view frustum and occlusion clipping planes using deprecated OpenGL functions."

Can't see Model background when on Modern (Core profile) setting

A Modern (Core Profile) OpenGL Context does not include support for deprecated OpenGL functions.

The Legacy (Backwards Compatible) OpenGL Context includes support for all OpenGL functions, including the deprecated functions.

This is documented in the User Manual:

The blue box explains when you would try changing this option from the default value of Legacy (Backwards Compatible).

If you have a GeForce GTX card and you aren't running through a virtual machine that only supports the core profile, then you don't need to use the core profile setting.

You will need to do some scaling on your CAD drawing - as is, a toilet is about 20 feet wide. Probably this CAD drawing is scaled in inches.

By scaling the drawing to 1/12 its current size, I get a sizing that looks pretty good:

I've attached the modified model for your convenience. Hopefully you see the CAD layout, but if not, please visit that graphics article to try the suggestions there.
