Curved conveyor segments & A*

Do curved conveyors not act as barriers with A* Navigator? In the attached model, I have indicated two curved segments as barriers but they are not highlighted as blue when turning on visuals in A* and the operator walks right through the segments. The operator avoids the straight conveyors.

They certainly do. See the attached model for an example. curvedconveyorastar.fsm

The operator in your model isn't attached to the A* Navigator and is ignoring all barriers.
