find next door

Sombody have an idea or a feature for me that the people in the model below finde the next door (in case of an firealarme) and people should leave the room to the same time? In my model only 3 people leave the room in series (because the release Location).

Should I put the 3 doors with there coordinates to a table and than I have to calculate the distance from every person to the doors? I don´t know what is the best or a good solution!?

Thanks in advance for every reference

Christoph,

have you tried to put all three doors on a list and whenever a person is looking for the closest door, you sort the list by distance? You will have to leave the entries on the list of course :)
