How can the operator get third floor by going upstairs elevator, get first floor by going downstairs elevator?
Can it set by FlexSim or Process Flow or other?
I'm trying to envision the modeling situation you've explained, but have many questions. Please send a sample model to clear up the problem statement.
In general, I have been successful controlling which travelers use specific elevator banks with the use of conditional barriers/dividers (A*) across the entrance leading to the various elevator banks in my model.
In this model I put one way dividers around the two elevators so that you can only enter one of the elevators one either floor:
The elevators need to be a little taller so that they can reach the 3rd floor.
Also the barriers need to be a little more away from the elevator at the front of the elevator.
There is something weird going on though, the operator should be taking flowitems to the 2nd floor. If I make the elevator taller so that it reaches the 3rd floor then it all works.
The elevators can reach the 2rd floor.,But people just stop at the source.
