3D Import Measurement Check

Hello,

I created a 3D object in SketchUp, uploaded the 3D object to 3D Warehouse, and downloaded the object as a Collada file. When I import the 3D object into FlexSim, I want to validate that the 3D object is drawn correctly within FlexSim. How would I do this?

If you know one of the x or y measurements of the object, the easiest way for me would be to do the following:

1) Turn off "Perspective Projection" in a 3D view.

2) Open the Measure / Convert GUI.

3) Click on the Measure Icon.

4) Click on the grid next to your 3D shape at the start and end of part of the model you know the measurement of and check to see if the results match.

This should let you know if the 3D shape is sized correctly,

Brandon

@King-Ki F

You are looking in the "More View Settings" GUI. The perspective projection option is in the Quick Properties of the view which is where you clicked on the button to get the the GUI in your picture.
