Video Recorder Simulation Speed

When using the Video Recorder, is there a way to prevent the model from running at the Max simulation run speed? I'm using a basic sequence with the speed set to 1, but notice that the run speed is set at the max level at the end of the recording.

The Speed on the Video Recorder is the speed of the model run in the final recorded video. Not the speed that the model runs while recording the video. The model records the video as fast as possible. That speed parameter controls how much model time elapses between each frame in the recorded video.

Why do you want the model to not run as fast as possible while recording the video?

Well I have a flypath and wanted the simulation run speed to slow down so it's not as hectic during the flypath view just to capture a small sample of the model. My workaround is screen recording the model, running the model, and then starting the flypath but was wondering if there was a way to change the speed so it's not running as fast as possible.

If you are using a flypath with the video recorder, then you must run the flypath with model time. It won't work otherwise, as each frame of the recording may take an unknown amount of time.

I'll try this solution. I may have my flypath keyframes too far from each other when I run it with the model time.

Edit: I moved the flypoints closer together and slowed down the simulation and works as intended. Thanks
