j'ai une erreur à l'ouverture de flexsim

Bonjour, flexsim ne veut plus s'ouvrir sur mon pc je reçois ce message d'erreur

exception: FlexScript exception: VIEW:/nodefunctions/windowdocking/dockwindow

exception: FlexScript exception: Method find() called on node that does not exist at MAIN:/project/events/OnStartApp/read user prefs

exception: FlexScript exception: MAIN:/project/events/OnStartApp/initiate autosave

@Aya A2 If I understand correctly:

  • you installed FlexSim recently
  • during your first days of utilization, you were able to use FlexSim without any issue
  • a few days later, you got the exception when opening FlexSim

Am I right ?

yes i used it for one day then it shows that consol error

Could you please try to reinstall FlexSim and see if the issue still occurs after a clean reinstallation ?

@Clair A yes I did several times and the same error apears in the consol system

Did you try point 5. in Steven's link - delete the prefs.t file from %APPDATA%/Flexsim/FlexSim21.0 ?

Hi @jason.lightfoot, I just finished an online meeting with @Aya A2. Here are the steps that we followed:

  • uninstall FlexSim
  • delete all FlexSim related files left in Program Files and AppData
  • restart a clean installation

And this solved the issue.

Maybe the prefs.t file was the only corrupted file, I don't know. We deleted all files before reinstallation. Thanks for your help though, I'll try deleting only the prefs.t file next time I see a similar issue.
