Why am I seeing this error message after software update?

I'm getting the following error messages when I try to run FlexSim 2016 Update 1. Both seem related to Start Page. Program runs fine after dismissing both.

Any thoughts on why?

I believe this question is about the same issue.

This can usually be fixed by making sure you're up to date on your windows updates.

Hello Michael, you can download the missing api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll from the following link (choose one according to your Windows Version) and it would fix the html error:
