Answers Editor: Where is a key to insert a simple link?

There happened recently an update to write answers and comments.

I am unable to insert a simple link. I can share an article, a comment or an answer, but then the text is embedded. I just want to set an simple anchored link like it was done in the ancient times of the internet.

Which icon or mechanism is responsible to insert a link? Many thanks! Joerg

Hi @Joerg Vogel we've noticed the same thing and sent in a request to the people that run the Answers site. If you paste a link directly then select it, an edit button pops up which allows you to change the text. Definitely not as convenient as before, though.

AnswerHub has updated their text editor, adding a native link button to the toolbar:
