Video recorder stops at 3%

While recording the video the stop time box enables, change it's value and stops the recording. If i try to press play again video will continue but won't continue the Fly path. I already uninstall and install again but still not working. File runs fine in other computers but mine. Don't have this error in previous FlexSim version (23.0.2).testt.fsm

Below are the parameters I used to record the video.

I have been having the exact same problem with version 23.1.1. The Video ran fine in version 23.0.1.

I thought it was caused by some other changes I've made @Jason Lightfoot but maybe this is an upgrade issue?

In my test the stop time does not get set and the video records fine.

Is there a way to reset the system or change that default option? 1683039339970.png

Something looks strange there - can you post the model? What type of license do you have?

Hi Jacob, didn't found a solution. I believe a bug on this version (23.1.1) because it happened to more than 1 person in my organization.

Have you updated your graphics card drivers? There have been issues with the video recorder not working before that have been fixed by updating the drivers. Here are some links to different sources to help update your drivers.

Hi Diana,

You need to check that any stop time does not interrupts the duration of the video. Then verify in the video recorder tab that the File Path is on your computer and the total duration of the video is linked up to the las Keyframe of your selected Flypath.

I tried myself with the attached model and the video record was succeed.

Version 23.0 onwards ignores any stop times when recording video.

The problem is that I don't set any stop time before recording. The stop time sets itself.

You can also try duplicating the FlyPath 1 and rename it as Flypath2. Then on the Video Recorder Tab select the New Flypath created. Click on the "Apply" button and then Record.

I attached you the model with this configuration: testt_1.fsm

Hi @Diana C7,

I would also make sure that all of your graphics drivers are up to date.

@Sam Stubbs

I updated the Nvidia driver, but also had to do a specific sequence with the video recorder to get this working after.

Created a new output file entry, left everything blank. Deleted the output file entry that errored, so all I had was the new blank one. Then closed video recorder and deleted it from the tree. Then added a video recorder back, it came back with the output file that still needed configuration. Configured it to the same settings as the previous recorder and it worked!

Thanks for the help

I think the key thing I didn't see in the instructions is that the new video recorder will retain the messed up output file entry and somehow new output files inherit something from that one, so you have to make the output file change before you delete the existing video recorder.
