Difficulty In Modelling Conveyors With Low Width Size

Hi,

When I model a conveyor belt with a smaller width, I always face difficulties placing the conveyors correctly at the correct location. This difficulty is caused by the automatic merge of the conveyors as per my observation. This usually consumes a lot of time for me to finalize the positions of the conveyor.

For instance, in the attached model, I m trying to place the fourth conveyor parallel to the third conveyor. Manually it is very difficult to place the fourth conveyor nearby the third conveyor. The fourth conveyor gets snapped to the other conveyors automatically and as a result, proper placement is difficult. How can I address this difficulty?

To avoid this issue, I will put the conveyors in a visual tool to keep the conveyors at the right location. Sometimes side transfers will be created automatically and sometimes not. If the side transfers are not created I will connect them by "A" connections.

Reducing the Snap Threshold in the Conveyor System properties should allow you to place the conveyors more precisely.

The most precise method will always be to directly enter the coordinates of the start and end location in the conveyor's properties.
