Facing issues while debugging?

Hi Team,

I am working on model which is quite heavy due to high content in WIP. There is a bug a model after long time of around 10 days. I was collecting results using optimizer before but due to bug it was not successful. I am trying to debug it in 3D but facing hang issue while checking the things in 3D view due to high memory consumption as below:

I would like to know about the alternative ways in this case.

Thank you!

I've modelled large storage systems and not seen that much memory used. Are you virtualizing the stored items in racks? Can you show is the memory profiler snapshot and tell us which are the largest usages?

Hi @Jason Lightfoot,

Do you mean, I need to hide the WIP in queue to make it better?

Thank you!

If your wip is just in a Queue object then yes, you can hide the content of the queue but the memory use will be the same. I would instead try not have the WIP items and just record how many of each type are on hand - creating them when they're needed.

What are your items? Pills, small bottles? Such items should be modelled with mass flow conveyors or batched quantities in boxes/pallets.
