how does Flexsim handle face mapping of media expoted as an FBX?

elec.jpgcolumn.jpgmax-flexsim.fbxmax-render.jpgmap-test.fsm

We are trying to understand the best way to apply face mapped materials in 3ds max so as to get predictable results within Flexsim. In the attached model you will notice the cubes on the platform are black in Flexsim, however in 3d studio they render fine (as can be seen in the attached .jpg). Any insight as to how to apply the mapping coordinates and or parameters so that Flexsim accepts them would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Jim

The diffuse color on your cubes is black in the fbx file. Something in your material configuration is making it so that black is the diffuse color within the exported fbx file.

In 3ds Max, modify your material so that the diffuse color is checked, and set the color to white.
