I know the difference between two sources, how would I put that into my model so I can have my model to scale.

It kind of depends on what you set up the model units to be when you created the model. From the example below, by default, the Length Units are set in meters. Which mean that every square in the model grid is 1 meter. So in the example, the Sources are 3 meters (3 model grid squares) apart. If you setup you model to be feet, then the Sources would be 3 feet apart.
Does that make more sense now?
