19,2 license upgrade crashes

Installed 19.2 , Flexsim prompted for License Upgrade , clicking Request Upgrade button crashes the application repeatedly.

Hi @Shankar Narayan,

Sorry about the issue. This is a known bug. We recently updated the website, but it broke the in-software upgrade.

UPDATE: in-software upgrades are working again. Please comment below if you have any troubles. Continue reading for the standard internet-based upgrade work-around.


You will need to follow the procedure outlined in your FlexSim Account for the standard upgrade procedure, which basically consists of

  • return the activated license
  • upgrade licenses on the website
  • copy the upgraded license code
  • activate the new license to your computer

Expand the instructions for "standard Internet-based upgrading" to see the full instructions.

We hope to be able to repair the in-software upgrade procedure in the next few weeks.

My 19.2 is still erroring out when trying to upgrade the license.

Sorry for the trouble. There was another bug I just fixed, but that is now cleared up as well. The in-software upgrade just worked for me in my test.
